The hotel receptionist insisted I wake up before dawn.
"Trust me," he said.
At 5:30 AM, I reached Dhanushkodi.
The sky slowly turned orange.
Waves from the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean met near the shore.
There were very few people around.
Only the sound of the sea.
Standing there felt almost surreal.

Walking through those empty streets was both haunting and fascinating.
It's one of those places where history feels incredibly real.

- Travel across Pamban Bridge by train if possible.
- Visit Dhanushkodi during sunrise.
- Spend an evening near Agni Theertham Beach.
- Try fresh seafood from local restaurants.
- Stay at least two nights instead of making it a day trip.
